You're a GIRL!!

you're a girl!

Whenever we're out about town and I politely ask Don to hold my purse for a sec, he takes it and then I quickly say, "you're a girl! you're a girl!"

And that's just what we're having: a girl!! So far we've dubbed her Rosa Jane, after my maternal grandmother Rosa and my best friend, Heather Jane.

The doctor was very enthusiastic about the health of the baby and her development so far. It was such a relief! And she's sooo cute and beautiful already!

Rosa Jane is expected to arrive on September 21. She's the only one in the world with whom I would share my birthday.

Friends keep telling me that I'm aglow. I feel so very loved by our community. It's an amazing feeling that reminds me much of how happy everyone was for us at our wedding... and now it's happiness times 10. Life is very, very good.

Wait for CHANGE Posted by Hello

Just When You Thought Change Would Never Come

Just When You Thought Change Would Never Come

Well, the word is out. We're having a baby!! We're so freaking excited that we don't really know what to do with ourselves. The news came May 4th, the day before we left for Jamaica for Holly and Scott's wedding. We had an amazing time together, just relaxing in the warm sun and beautiful views and thinking about baby names. Next week we'll find out the due date and sex in a sonogram on Tuesday. I can't hardly wait!!

In the meantime, school has definitely taken a backseat. Finals are approaching for Term III, and it's getting hard to coordinate my model's schedules. I'm just gonna take it as it comes and if my work has to stay as is, it really wouldn't be the end of the world. I'm pretty happy with my cowgirls on the slides. I just wish they weren't slides so that I could get'em printed up nice n' big without paying a fortune.

All this and Austin, Texas is back on the horizon, but all of that is too hard to think about at the time. I'm gonna miss my Office girls. What a life-saver they have been this year. I'm sorta torn about where to have the delivery (possibly sometime in AUGUST!!) -- mom said there was just NO way we should have a yankee baby... but deep down i know no better pictures would exist anywhere unless it was documented by the office ladies. God loves photographers.

To be continued...
