Three Cheers For...

My Office-4.jpgFirst and foremost for my sweet husband for standing by his woman throughout her creative urges.

Second for that purple dinosaur that kept Rosa Jane from putting nail polish on my new carpets or finding some other trouble while I was busy painting over the weekend.

Third for my sweet friend Sally who inspires me to create.

Four for Mika Beth who told me about the dill pickle color in the first place.

How did you hang all of those lamps, I have always wanted to do that, but did not know how to with plugs and all.

Thanks for the comments, y'all! I'm not finished decorating yet, so I'll have to update pix when it's all done. It looks a little too green at the moment...

As for the chinese lanterns, I screwed these little eye-hooks into the ceiling, similar to what you'd use on the back of a wall frame to string the wire. I tied twine through the eyehook and then tied a knot around the lantern wire frame. Easy breezy and I didn't use the bulb & cord part -- that would have required a better attachment to the ceiling. These are just paper lanterns hanging high, no lighting added. You, too, can do it! go for it!
