Late last night we received a very exciting call from the Pixie in Ann Arbor. She was offered a job at Boston Consulting Group in Chicago. YEE HAW, Sara Cat! We are so so proud of you and so excited for your next chapter which will start next fall. Words really can't express how your family feels right now, Sara. We love you, sweet girl. Way to be the absolute star. Bright and shiny. Congratulations!

The Pixie flew off to Chicago Tuesday night. BCG sold her hard over dinner that night. She went in for interviews the next morning, left feeling "really good about it," and got home to find a job offer waiting for her. Impressive enough had she been seeking the normal first job out of college. To have so won over BCG, a very prestigious and selective strategic consulting firm, is just so over the top that I'm at an uncharacteristic loss for words. I'm just so happy for her and so proud of what she has accomplished. And here's the good news: it's ridiculously easy to get from Austin to Chicago (and vice versa, Pixie cat)!! What a great, happy day...
